Coordination Meeting Held Between the Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Spokespersons of the Government Organizations
A coordination meeting between the Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and spokespersons of the government organizations was held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC).
The meeting was chaired by the Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, and attended by the Director of the Government Media and Information Center, Mawlavi Naeem-ul-Haq Haqqani; Deputy Spokesperson, Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat; as well as spokespersons from various government organizations.
The meeting commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an. Following the agenda, GMIC Director Mawlavi Naeem-ul-Haq Haqqani delivered the opening remarks, expressing his appreciation for the cooperation and coordination demonstrated by the spokespersons across various areas.
Subsequently, the Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, addressed the gathering. He commended the spokespersons for their efforts in sharing information and ensuring timely public communication, emphasizing their vital role in further strengthening the government's information dissemination process.
He also spoke about several initiatives undertaken by GMIC and called on all spokespersons to actively contribute to enriching the initiatives, which showcase the government's activities and achievements.
Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid highlighted the important role of the media in disseminating information, raising public awareness, reflecting facts, and strengthening public trust in the government. He urged all spokespersons to continue enhancing the information dissemination process and to maintain proper and sustained cooperation and coordination with the media.
The spokespersons of various organizations then shared their views and suggestions with Mr. Mujahid on strengthening public communication, improving media coordination, and enhancing the management and effectiveness of press and broadcasting affairs.
The meeting concluded with prayers for the prosperity and well-being of the Islamic system, the country, and its people.
