Deputy PM Chairs High-Level Meeting of the National Food and Drug Board

The meeting of the National Food and Drug Board was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, with the participation of all board members.
At the outset, board members presented reports on their assigned duties and activities.
Subsequently, a comprehensive discussion and assessment were conducted regarding the facilitation of medicine imports and other related matters. The meeting emphasized the need to strengthen monitoring of food and drug production and importation facilities in the capital, provinces, and districts. It was further stressed that preventive measures must be taken to curb hoarding practices by companies.
