Climate Change Integration Discussed in National Planning Consultative Meeting

A consultative meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Mawlawi Matiulhaq Khalis, Director General of the National Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA), with representatives from relevant government entities.

The Director General emphasized that climate change is a global issue and that Afghanistan remains one of the countries most severely affected. He called on representatives of government institutions to ensure that climate change considerations are systematically incorporated into their plans, policies, and development activities.

During the meeting, NEPA officials delivered detailed presentations on climate change related topics. The session concluded with a closing prayer.
